Jada Pinkett Smith Reveals She and Will Smith Have Been Secretly Separated for 7 Years

Jada Pinkett Smith Reveals She and Will Smith Have Been Secretly Separated for 7 Years

Jada Pinkett Smith is revealing the truth about her marriage to blockbuster movie star Will Smith.

In a new interview about her memoir “Worthy” the Girls Trip star revealed that she has been separated from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for seven years.

In 2016 the couple decided that they would live completely separate lives, yet remain married.

Yet when gossipers disclosed that the two were separated or in an open relationship, both Will & Jada denied the rumors. Jada says she wasn’t ready to tell the world yet.

While fans are just learning the news now, Jada confirmed to Today that she and Will have been apart since 2016. As for the reason they kept things quiet?

“I think just not being ready yet, still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in partnership and in regards to how do we present that to people,” Jada told Hoda Kotb in an interview released Oct. 11. “And we hadn’t figure that out.”

She also shed some light on what led them to part ways.

“Why it fractured, that’s a lot of things,” the actress added. “I think by the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying. I think we were both stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.”

And while Jada said she considered divorce, she ultimately decided not to file.

“I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce,” she said in the interview, which is part of Jada’s Story – An NBC News Special that will air Oct. 13. “We will work through whatever, and I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”

What’s interesting here is that Jada and Will are experiencing the same problems many couples go through. The reality of who the person is versus who you want them to be. They’ve gone through all types of high profile counseling sessions and still no fix.

The advice I give couples who work with me is to stop focusing on the negative things about your mate. If you love your mate, amplify their good. As the problems you see in them are really just a reflection of your own mindset and beliefs about yourself.

For Jada, she never wanted to marry Will in the first place. For some reason Will refuses to divorce her and move on with his life.

Many couples stay married even though the relationship is fractured. Through Will & Jada it is obvious there is no point, other than for business purposes. But the LOVE won’t ever come back as long as the couple is in denial.

Real freedom comes from knowing what you want, getting it, and then appreciating it. Your partner can neither give you feelings of freedom or happiness, unless you first give those things to yourself. Jada doesn’t have it, because she doesn’t know what she wants.

This is something many of my clients discover in a soul alignment session. CLARITY is the answer.

And if a couple is not going to get divorced, then dating other people definitely isn’t helping. As long as someone in the relationship has outside sex to escape to they can’t fully commit to healing.

Jada Pinkett Says Only Concentrating On Marriage To Husband Will Smith Turned Her Into A Terror

Jada Pinkett Says Only Concentrating On Marriage To Husband Will Smith Turned Her Into A Terror

More footage of Jada Pinkett speaking candidly on Red Table Talk about her relationship with husband Will Smith has surfaced.

Speaking with Stephen Curry’s wife Ayesha Curry Jada spoke about how concentrating only on the kids and husband Will Smith made her life worse.

Although Jada said she put herself in Will’s shoes, she simply does not seem to like Will. Yet, they are still sticking together in a lifetime partnership.

Essentially Sports Reports:

In one of the episodes of Red Table Talk, Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Gammy traveled to North Carolina to meet the Curry family. And they had some candid moments during the discussion.

During the talk show, Ayesha Curry was talking about how she didn’t just want to be a basketball wife. She said that Sonya perfectly balances her needs, her husband’s, and her children’s. But she said that this made her realize she needed something for herself.

Ayesha said that she wanted to build a career for herself so that she could work on that and said that it would make her happy and fulfilled. So Jada asked what was the most difficult part for Ayesha in her pursuit of a career.

Curry said that trying to figure out how to balance her career and family was the hardest. And said that she wanted to give up her career just to be around her family more. She said that she had to talk her out of quitting her career due to the family because, when she was a housewife, she was miserable.

Hearing this, Jada Pinkett confessed, “Oh, I am with you, I am with you that phase. Like, not working. Like, okay, ‘I am just gonna concentrate on my kids and I am gonna concentrate on my husband’, and I turned into a terror.”

Ayesha Curry said that the children would eventually grow up and leave to live their own lives, which would leave the mothers with an emptiness if they didn’t have a career.

You notice that Jada never has anything positive to say about Will?

Jada Pinkett Says She’s Not Really Married To Will Smith Anymore They Are Just Business Partners

Jada Pinkett Says She’s Not Really Married To Will Smith Anymore They Are Just Business Partners

The way the internet is all up in Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage is quite interesting.  Many believe the couple is headed for divorce. But according to Jada, she and Will Smith are in a lifetime partnership.

BSO REPORTS:

Jada Pinkett’s marriage with Will Smith is gradually hitting the rocks and I wouldn’t be surprised to see headlines of their divorce following the Oscars slap brouhaha in the coming months.

In 2019, Jada Pinkett along with Willow Smith and Gammy visited the Curry family in North Carolina for the show and during their interaction, Jada let everyone know that she’s now in “partnership” with her husband Will Smith. The couple now refer to their marriage as “partnership” via Essentially Sports;

They talked to Ayesha Curry, Sydel Curry-Lee, Sonya Curry, and Callie Rivers. Ayesha Curry is an entrepreneur and chef who is married to basketball superstar Stephen Curry. Sydel Curry-Lee is Stephen and Seth Curry’s sister. Sonya Curry is their mother and was married to NBA veteran Dell Curry. Callie Rivers is engaged to Seth Curry and is also the sister of NBA star Austin Rivers.

When they started talking, Sonya Curry shared that she has been married to Dell Curry for 30 years at the time. And Jada said, “Did you know I am on 21?” with a hand on her face. Then Sonya said, “You can make it. It’s possible.” And everyone broke out laughing.

Then Jada said, “Yeah, you know, I mean, our partnership. We don’t really call it a marriage anymore, we call it a partnership. We are life and business partners, we are in a different stage of our union. I know that unions go through many stages.”

On Jada Pinkett and Will Smith’s partnership, here is what you need to know;

Will Smith met Jada on the set of Smith’s television show ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ in 1994. Jada auditioned for the role of Will’s girlfriend, but she didn’t land it. Later, Will and Jada started dating. Jada and Will Smith married on December 31, 1997, while she was 3 months pregnant. Their son Jaden Christopher Syre Smith was born in 1998 and daughter Willow Camille Reign Smith was born in 2000.

In April 2013, Jada reportedly said in an interview that she had always said that Will can do whatever he wants because he is his own man. This made everyone believe that Will Smith and Jada were in an open relationship. But she immediately denied such claims and said that she was not referring to an open marriage with her comments.

But all hell broke loose in June 2020 when rapper and singer August Alsina said that he and Jada had been involved in an affair in 2016 when he was 23 and Jada was 44. He was also a friend of Will’s son Jaden. To make things worse, he also claimed that they had Will’s permission for the affair. A spokesperson of Jada denied Alsina’s claims.

Then in July, Jada hosted her husband Will Smith in the Red Table Talk, where she confirmed her affair with Alsina when they were separated. But she maintained that didn’t happen with Will’s permission. Then in 2021, Will Smith took a U-turn and stated that Jada didn’t believe in a conventional marriage. And admitted that he and Jada have had sexual relationships outside their marriage.

Ironically not too long after this Sonya Curry would file for divorce from Dell, so you can blame Jada for that too.

Something I recently learned about relationships is that it’s best to commit to the relationship and not to the person.  Is that how so many people have a long-lasting marriage?

Jada Pinkett Smith ‘never’ wanted to marry Will, cried at ‘horrible’ wedding

Jada Pinkett Smith ‘never’ wanted to marry Will, cried at ‘horrible’ wedding

Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, and the internet seems to feel that Jada Pinkett Smith is the cause of it all.  Things keep getting worse and worse  as to the internet being convinced that Jada doesn’t love her husband, which is why she “allowed” him to walk on stage in the first place.

Yesterday old footage of Jada Pinkett emasculating her husband surfaced. Today Jada’s words once again came back to bite her.

This morning after news came out that Will Smith is banned from the Oscars for the next decade,  (yes, 10 whole years) The NY Post dropped an article revealing the time Jada Pinkett confessed that she “really didn’t want to get married” to Will Smith.

NY Post Reports:

In fact, the “Matrix” actress  admitted to “crying down the freaking aisle” before tying the knot with the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star on New Year’s Eve in 1997.

“I was under so much pressure, you know, being a young actress, being young, and I was just, like, pregnant and I just didn’t know what to do,” declared Pinkett Smith, 50, in a freshly exhumed snippet from her “Red Table Talk” Facebook series. “I never wanted to be married.”

In the clip from 2018 — which has resurfaced amid renewed controversy around her louche “entanglement” with R&B singer August Alsina, 29 — Pinkett Smith candidly recalls her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, also known as “Gammy,” 68, forcing her and Smith to wed after she became pregnant with their first son together, Jaden, now 23.

“I really didn’t wanna get married,” Pinkett Smith restated while seated around the circular table with her mom, as well as Smith, 53, and their daughter Willow, 21.

“We only got married because Gammy was crying,” a chuckling Smith informed Willow.

“It was almost as if Gammy was like, ‘You have to get married, so let’s talk about the wedding,’” said Pinkett Smith, prompting Banfield-Norris to confess, “I remember feeling very strongly and wanting you guys to be married.”

The “Girls Trip” star’s mother was just 18 when she became pregnant with Pinkett Smith, and briefly married her father, Robsol Pinkett Jr.

“I do remember [wanting you and Will to get married] but I don’t remember your rejection of the idea of marriage,” Banfield-Norris added. “I remember the rejection of the idea of a wedding but not of a marriage.”

Pinkett Smith then recalled being browbeaten into Big Day submission.

“And now Gammy done gone to Will, crying about ‘I don’t want a wedding,’ and now I’m being forced to have a wedding,” she said. “I just wanted it to be the two of us on a mountain because I was like: ‘This is serious business.’”

It gets worse…..

Jada and Will married at the Gothic-style Cloisters Castle in a suburb of her hometown, Baltimore, Maryland. And, despite their picturesque venue, Pinkett Smith and her mom both acknowledged that it was less than stellar.

“The wedding was horrible,” Banfield-Norris conceded. “It was a mess. Jada was sick, she was very unpleasant … She didn’t cooperate with anything.”

Laughing, Pinkett Smith agreed, saying, “And I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle. I cried the whole way down the aisle.”

Conversely, Smith — who, in March, earned his first Oscar for a masterful portrayal of Venus and Serena Williams’ father, Richard Williams, 80, in the feature film “King Richard” — was positively giddy on their wedding day.

“There wasn’t a day in my life that I wanted anything other than being married and having a family,” he said during the episode. “From literally 5 years old, I was picturing what my family would be.”

Kissy's Thoughts

Jada is a beast!. She also got upset with Will for throwing her a birthday party.

This is heartbreaking to say the least.  There’s acting, there’s attention to your brand, and then there is destroying the brand of a man who has worked so hard to get to where he is. Yet this is what people tell you to be, honest and authentic.

Like I said yesterday, this is an entire movie.   Lifetime or the movie theater. It’s coming.

Viral Video of Will Smith Warning Wife JADA ‘Don’t Use Me’ For Clout Resurfaces On The Web

Viral Video of Will Smith Warning Wife JADA ‘Don’t Use Me’ For Clout Resurfaces On The Web

L[/dropcpcap]isten, this Will Smith situation isn’t going away any time soon. So just buckle your seatbelts and enjoy the show. Popcorn is not included, and Jujubee’s, Starbucks, Sour Watermelon and skittles are like gold coins these days. Expensive, like this mess of an entangled marriage that the actor Will Smith has found himself in.

New video from 2019, of Will Smith giving his wife Jada Pinkett,  a stern warning to stop invading his privacy — saying, “Don’t use me” for clout — has a resurfaced and is going viral on social media.

The 49-second clip — which was initially filmed by Jada Pinkett Smith on her Instagram Live — has clocked thousands of views on Reddit since it popped up in the wake of Smith’s assault on comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars last month.

Jada Pinkett Smith, 50, initially made the video to promote her chat show “Red Table Talk,” with the vision showing her state: “You know [therapist] Esther Perel is coming to the table — she’s gonna be at the ‘Red Table.’”

She then flashes the camera on her husband and asks: “Would you say she has been instrumental in you and I redefining our relationship?”

Smith looks irritated by the question and kindly responds: “I would say don’t just start filming me without asking me.”

Pinkett Smith seemingly brushes off her husband’s request, telling viewers she is “still dealing with foolishness.”

Is Jada saying Will had better bow down to HER demands? What is going on here?

She then continues to probe her movie-star spouse, saying: “Would you say that she [Perel] helped us heal the hurts that we caused between one another?”

The continued questioning is clearly frustrating the “Men In Black” star, who snaps back: “My social media presence is my bread and butter. So you can’t just use me for social media. Don’t just start rolling; I’m standing in my house. Don’t start rolling.”

Kissy's Thoughts
If this isn’t acting, this is absolutely heartbreaking. The life of movie star Will Smith who is a great legendary actor, has been turned into a movie by his wife. What are your thoughts?

They say a woman should never be afraid to lose a man, and Jada is a prime example of such a woman….

It’s looking like Will may need to:
