Tiffany Haddish and Common have called it quits after more than a year of dating.
The former couple’s romance came to an end after their different schedules made it difficult for them to see each other, a source told PEOPLE magazine.
“They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship,” the source says.
Reps for both stars didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Rumors of a relationship between the pair began in April 2020, when it was revealed during an Instagram Live session between Cedric the Entertainer and Haddish that Common was quarantining with the female comedian.
“That was an exclusive,” Haddish said in the chat, captured by the Jasmine Brand. “And since we’re on quarantine, I can’t get my [birth control] shot, so let’s see what happens!”

Common and Haddish also went on a “virtual date” via Bumble that month, highlighting the app’s video functions while social distancing at the time.
“You look very beautiful,” Common told Haddish on the date, a video of which was posted to Bumble’s Instagram account.
“You looking very handsome yourself,” she gushed, later calling Common, “so sweet and romantic.”
Truth be told, after Tiffany said that she wanted Common to buy her property instead of a ring, if they were to get married, I knew this relationship was over with.
Celebrities have to say things to keep their names in people’s mouths, but that was a bit too much. I suspected that Common simply supported Tiffany and allowed her to fly free.
Either way, she seemed to find herself in that relationship and blossom, so I’m also sure there are no hard feelings.
Now to see who Common dates next. Bruh really doesn’t have a type.
Comedian Tiffany Haddish is at the top of her career and recently got the icing on the cake by finding love with a conscious man.
Recently in the past few years I’ve come to the conclusion that awakened conscious men are the best kind of men to be in a relationship with. So when I heard that Tiffany said that her confidence has skyrocketed since she’s been in a relationship with the rapper Common that comes as no surprise.
WHERE DID THEY MEET?
The love story between comedian Tiffany Haddish, 40, and rapper Common, 48, met on the set of the 2019 movie “The Kitchen.” Nothing romantic happened at the time, but the two entertainers hit it off as friends.
WHEN DID THEY START DATING?
This year when COVID pushed it’s wrath upon the world, and caused many relationships to fall apart after TRULY getting to know each other, Common and Tiffany decided to go a virtual BUMBLE date, due to their sponsorship with the app. The two celebrities are paid to promote virtual dating through the app.
They went on a virtual date for the heck of it, and surprisingly hit it off. They then decided to schedule another date and BOOM, love struck.
Tiffany boldly confirmed their relationship on a Podcast with Steve O, in a way that only Tiffany can.
“He got tested for everything, I got tested for everything, and yeah, we’ve been f–king.”
The couple started quarantining together and since has been having a good time.
Through her relationship with Common it seems as though her often child-like, relaxed nature is being nurtured.
On the podcast Tiffany stated that she was very much in love with Common, who is her first celebrity boyfriend.
HOW BEING LOVED PROPERLY CHANGES LIVES
What’s even more beautiful is that Tiffany also said that it’s “hands down the best relationship” she’s ever been in.
“I’ve lost 20 pounds since I’ve been in this relationship. I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it,” she said. “I’m just way happier and it’s, like, knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways, and I love it. I love him.”
She also joked that she and Common are “twins now,” referring to her new shaved look. “I’ve been talking about cutting my hair for years,” she admitted, adding that Common had nothing but support and praise for her.
“He’s like, ‘Wow, you did it man. You’ve got a lot of courage. You look so beautiful. I love it,’” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Ah, put your head on my head.’”
Amazing. It’s absolutely no surprise that Common has increased Tiffany’s confidence and self-love. Love from a conscious man will do that to a woman. Especially one as phenomenal as Common.
However, she should not discount the AFFECT that such a great man has on the woman he chooses to love. As if she was with another man, her confidence could actually decrease.
Never discount the joy that people bring you. It’s okay to say that people add happiness to your life. While YES, it’s up to us to maintain our own self-esteem and confidence, I personally know the affect that I’ve had on past mates, my clients and my followers. Giving someone increased CONFIDENCE is worth millions of dollars.
