I saw this comment and believe that it will bring healing to many people. So I’m sharing it.
“This is a short answer and hopefully it brings an alternative to your feelings. I used to feel so deeply for someone , and going on two years after our breakup I would yearn for him, ache for him and just miss terribly. I thought I’d never get over him. I listened to what others said and the advice attached to it— “just get over it”, “see new people”, “LET GO”, “come to acceptance with it”, “go no contact” etc etc. But honestly none of that worked. Maybe temporarily, at most for a few weeks. It was heart aching cycle. Mainly because he was a good man.
At some point close to the two years of me not seeing him, we reconnected. With casual conversation on social media and then we met up. He was coming out of a relationship so I really had no intentions other than to fufill my own desires of seeing him and speaking to him. I had missed him so much. We met by a lake, walked around and pretty much re-discovered ourselves again, got caught up. In the almost-two years; we’d both had grown, changed in different ways. Quite a bit actually. I realized as the night went on, and from the days and nights that continued on from then that my heart was no longer attached to him.
Whomever he was becoming was great actually, but it wasn’t who I saw myself with. I hadn’t realized it but I had grown too and my desires couldn’t be met by him anymore. I slowly started shifting my perspective of him. He started to look more like a good friend rather than my forever partner which I had truly believed at some point.
I guess my point is, sometimes it’s ok to go against general advice and maybe you should contact or see this person again. Sometimes you’ll surprise yourself. Maybe you’ll find you’re in love and so are they or maybe you’ll find you’re far from it and it was just infatuation taking over for nearly a year.
Either way, I don’t see the damage it could do. Because honestly, had I listened to everyone’s advice and stayed away, I think I’d be still madly attached to him.
PS. What I have learned is the mind has an obscene way of making things appear greater or worse than they really are. The thing with infatuation is we tend to overlook the not-so-great things that didn’t make the relationship work to begin with. It’s almost as if they become non-existent. So much so to the point that we paint this picture that doesn’t exist. And from my experience, if your attachment is as heavy as you feel, there’s a great chance that your mind has almost eroded all of the things that counted towards the demise of the relationship. Just always be wary of this when you are considering how deep you are feeling for this person.”

We already know that Black is beautiful, but for the first time in history the top beauty pageants in the country have simultaneously elevated this truth. Three Black women are currently wearing crowns as the 2019 Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss America.
When Cheslie Kryst’s name was announced as Miss USA on Thursday she completed the historic trio with pageant winners 2019 Miss America Nia Franklin and recently crowned 2019 Miss Teen USA Kaliegh Garris.

Kryst, who represents North Carolina, is a civil litigation attorney who received her law degree and MBA from Wake Forest University.
People across social media marveled at Kryst’s natural hair and noticed that both she and Garris bypassed any form of hair straightening.
Garris told Refinery21 that while some people tried to convince her to straighten her hair for the Miss Teen USA competition, she opted for her natural curls because when she’s wearing them, she feels confident. The Connecticut native is still in high school but plans to attend Southern Connecticut State University’s nursing program as she plans to become a trauma nurse in the future.

Both Garris and Kryst followed behind Nia Franklin who in September 2018, sprinkled Black Girl Magic onto the 2019 pageant season when she was crowned Miss America.

Franklin represented New York and holds a master’s degree in music composition from UNC School of the Arts. She is an opera singer and an advocate for arts advocacy.
In 2012 Black women simultaneously wore crowns as Miss Teen USA and Miss USA.
Congratulations to these 2019 beauty queens. Together they exude beauty, brains and Black girl magic!
We’ll be tuning in later this year when Kryst represents the United States in the Miss Universe competition.

If you want to deeply connect with potential customers, clients, and followers, having a great brand story is key.
Brand stories enable people to identify with your brand and care about it – a brand story is the “why and how” of your business, including your driving mission, your struggles and your successes. What creates an impactful celebrity brand story is definitely you defeating the odds.
A brand story should not only present facts but also evoke feelings. In order to help you create your own brand story, here are 20 keys to putting together a narrative that will resonate with your followers, and help your business grow.
1. Truth
Authenticity can only be achieved through honesty and transparency.
Customers appreciate businesses that are upfront with their intentions, and consumers are smart and know where people are trying to fool them. But for a celebrity brand, you must pick one side of yourself to show. Being too authentic is too much for the common person.
2. Purpose
It’s not enough for a business to exist simply to make profits – what makes a business truly have a “brand” is the big picture.
A brand with a purpose will do a lot better in the long term.
3. Vision
Your vision is all about the impact you want your brand to make in the world, and everything you do in your business should fit that vision in the long term.
4. Values
The set of principles your brand follows is what enables you to execute your vision – it shapes your internal business culture and guides personnel in day-to-day operations.
It’s also good if your brand shares the same values as your customers.
5. Products and Services
The lifeblood of a business is the products and services it’s selling. They have to live up to the brand story you’re telling, and the promises you make as a result.
6. Value You Deliver
Products and services alone may not be enough to show the value your brand delivers – being able to show it in definitive terms will enable you to better convince your audience of how good you are.
7. Name and Tagline
A brand can never be without its name and a tagline that both represent what it’s all about.
The name must be recognizable and the tagline needs to concisely say as much as it can about your brand.
8. Content and Copy
Your content and copy are the meat of your brand story – they fill in the gaps and add more detail, helping you to attract your customers.
Content and copy is where you showcase your brand voice, letting you establish the personality of your brand. Of course a personal brand must have a personality.
9. Design
A big part of what makes a brand identifiable is its aesthetic design, and this is mostly done through the logo, which should be the first thing customers can recognize.
When done right, the visuals associated with your brand can help to sway their judgment.

10. Your Actions
Nothing represents a brand more than your actions as a business. Every action matters, from how you run your operations to how you interact with customers.
11. Customer Experience
What your customers go through in doing business with your brand is another major part of its story. No matter how good your marketing is, it’s nothing if you can’t fulfill your promises. Always do what you say you will.
12. Price and Quality
The price of your products and services, and their quality in return, will also determine the true value of your brand.
This will also relate to which kind of customers your brand attracts. You may be a budget brand or a luxury brand, but quality is always expected.
13. Position and Perception
As the old adage goes, “perception becomes reality”.
How you’re seen by your audience dictates the position your business resides in – it’s more about how you win hearts and less on how you manipulate their minds.
14. Ubiquity or Scarcity
There are products that are available everywhere else, and products that can be exclusive. To build a celebrity brand you can not be available to everyone. They won’t respect it. You must have major boundaries.
15. Community
Connecting to your tribe build community. The supporters/followers/clients of a celebrity person brand, love nothing more than to come together and share their stories about your brand. If you are true to your heart, you will build a community of loyal customers built over time. This significantly factor’s into a brand’s ongoing success, and how fast you can use your influence to impact on a global scale.
16. Reputation
It’s the story your customer tells about your brand, which can then spread to more people.
A brand’s reputation is everything, and marketing alone can’t reverse a brand’s bad reputation. Maintaining an authentic reputation is more important that establishing a “good” reputation. Being authentic to you, helps people accept you for who you are.
17. Reaction and Reach
Your ability to reach customers, and how they react to your brand, is an ongoing story.
As a celebrity Influencer your followers actually care about you and your business. Without branding like a celebrity they may not care that much about your business, or buy your products.
In combination, these various elements will form your brand story, and the better you can connect the dots and communicate that narrative, the more successful your broader marketing efforts will be.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are engaged! A-Rod popped the question on Saturday night and, according to his Instagram, “she said yes.”
Both J.Lo and A-Rod posted photos of the former New York Yankee holding her hand, which bore a massive diamond sparkler on it. Plus, her nails were appropriately painted white. It looked as if there was a bonfire going in the background. How romantic!
The couple is currently on a romantic getaway in Bakers Bay where their days are filled with white sand beaches, palm trees and warm weather. A-Rod perhaps hinted at his engagement on Saturday in one of his Instagram Story moments. He shared an excerpt from a poem called “Soulmate” that was most definitely in honor of his now-fiancée.
“A soulmate isn’t someone who completes you. No, a soulmate is someone who inspires you to complete yourself,” the poem says. “A soulmate is someone who loves you with so much conviction, and so much heart, that it is nearly impossible to doubt just how capable you are of becoming exactly who you have always wanted to be.”

What this proves is that you can only get away with something for so long… Times are changing. Wrongs are being righted in the world.
What amazes me is not that people do things, but the fact that they continue to do things over and over again, just being to be prosecuted for it. Kelly may want to grab his passport and fly somewhere close to the Bermuda Triangle…
If any woman is a victim violence or sexual abuse please seek professional help in order to remove yourself from this situation.
WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN TO KELLY?
