Lil Mo sat down with Revolt TV and spoke on rapper Fabolous‘ recent domestic violence arrest.
Seeing as to how the two collaborated on quite a few hits together, it’s not surprising that the mother of eight is taking Fab’s side.
“People have turned this into one thing from another and I’m not going to kick nobody when they down,” she said. “He’s managed to make it his whole career without insult to injury…but now this? Like, why? What the f**k is going on?”
“I’m not letting him go out like that,” she added. “I’ll Olivia Pope this whole situation before I let somebody take my brother down,” Mo said.
Just because we like a person or love a person, doesn’t mean they can’t do anything wrong. Nobody wants to believe that Fab would hit Emily. Like Mo said, he’s gone his entire career with no trouble. But it is what it is.
Personally I’ve known men who I may have cursed out and they didn’t say two words back to me, other than “I’m sorry Kissy,” but I would later come to find out they were woman beaters.
There’s a major difference between how a man treats his female friends and how he treats the women he’s intimate with or in relationships with.
It’s not like Mo has anything to lose by taking Fab’s side, but considering Emily’s two front teeth were knocked loose, obviously someone hit that woman in the mouth.
Fab finally broke his silence on the incident, and what he said is also not surprising.
